Grind For Kids Corporate Challenge: We’re Calling All Companies…

Grouse Mountain, Whistler Water, and the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation encourage companies and their staff to stay fit this summer while raising a mountain of money for kids in need.

Grind For Kids can mobilize your team, boost morale, foster your company’s health & wellness programs, and make a difference to an organization that impacts the lives of countless local children. The concept is simple. Sign up. Collect pledges. Do the Grouse Grind. Raise a mountain of money for BC Children’s Hospital!

How companies can help:

First, familiarize yourself with the program by visiting www.grindforkids.com . Here you can also join the various social media groups, refer the program to friends, sign up, or pledge someone you know.

Corporate participants can make the most impact on the Grind For Kids campaign by:

1. Contributing now! Up to August 15th, any donations made by a corporate participant will be matched dollar-for-dollar by presenting sponsor Whistler Water, up to $40,000. With a minimum donation of $2,000, you can double your contribution.

You can either contribute a one-time donation to this important cause or you can select a participant to sponsor throughout the Grind season. Either way, your support is integral to our success.

2. Creating a team of participants. Unite members of your company team in a meaningful and challenging summer-long initiative. Doing the Grouse Grind as a team promotes fitness, friendly competition, and a sense of kinship. See if your company can stay on the top of the leader board in this city-wide campaign.

3. Encouraging others to Grind for Kids. The more participants who tackle the trail or sponsor others to do so, the more powerful this initiative becomes. So spread the word. Challenge your contacts, your partners, even your competitors.

So hit the Grind this season with your team. Who knows? For a BC kid it might just mean the difference between a summer in a bed and a summer on a beach.

The Grind for Kids initiative will run through September, 2010.

Please do not hesitate to contact us directly to find out more about getting involved. We’re happy to custom tailor a program that makes the most sense for your organization.
